Program Satisfaction Guarantee
If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with a Recreation Activity, we will refund your money in full, as an account credit, if you make your request before the third session of the activity. This guarantes does not apply to Summer Camps, please see Camp Refund Policy below.
Activity Refund Policy
A 100% refund will be given for activities cancelled by the Parks and Recreation Department. Refund requests made prior to the start of an activity will be subject to a 10% service charge. Refund requests made during the course of an activity will be pro-rated and subject to a 10% service charge.
Camp Refund Policy
Refunds will be granted based on the amount of notice provided prior to the commencement of a summer camp.
If you cancel more than 7 days in advance of the start of camp: Entire camp fee is refunded, less $25 administration fee.
If you cancel 7 or fewer days in advance of the start of camp: A $25 camp processing fee will be charged, and the remaining balance can be processed as follows:
Option A: Remaining balance will remain on your Client Profile available for future use within Parks and Recreation.
Option B: 50% of the camp fee will be refunded to the original purchase card, if purchased using a credit/debit card or via check, if cash or check payment was made.
If you cancel after camp has started: No refund will be provided.
MEDICAL REASON FOR CANCELLATION
If Participant has a medical emergency, becomes ill, or you feel that the safety requirements for the camp do not adequately address preventing COVID-19, please let us know immediately and if this will affect participation in registered activity. A medical note from a doctor may be required to provide a refund. If Participant is unable to transfer to future date activity, a $25 camp processing fee will be deducted from the refund.
